Member Numbers

With our system upgrade, we will have member numbers and account numbers. Your member number is a unique number assigned to you as part of our credit union. All of your accounts are opened under this profile number. Account numbers will be assigned to each specific account type you open.

When we go live:

  • You will only have ONE member number - Most member numbers will stay the same, yet some may change to avoid duplication errors
  • Account suffixes will be eliminated – You will not see “S”, “I”, or “L” at the end of your account number anymore
    • Each savings, investment, and loan will have its own unique account number
    • You will have the ability to name each account for ease of use and organization (Vacation, Rainy Day Fund, Truck Loan, etc.)
  • All checking account numbers will use the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) as the account number
    • A MICR number can be found on the bottom of your checks, followed by the Partners 1st routing number
  • We will use a picture identification card (state ID, Driver’s License, etc.) to verify your identity and open your member profile
  • Existing checks you have will carry over to the new system (unless notified otherwise)

Information about how member numbers are affected has been sent via mail and email. If you did not receive this information or have more questions, please reach out to our Member Support team at 800.728.8943 or via the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this screen.
